ok so you say you don't like being single, but it's not just that is it? you like the idea of being able to go out and kiss and go off with any single girl you like, but it's that one person you want, the one you want to wake up with at the weekend and not think "holy shit i've got to get out of here" you learn to miss the small things that made you happy, the little things they would say to make you feel loved, somehow just any old person that wants to go out with you isn't enough, you can't feel that connection, and without that all you are is lust, but that's fine for the majority, but not for you, you want to feel the glow of REAL love on your skin and you don't care if you get hurt anymore because at least then you would feel, you would have that one thing you never had before....
