It's funny that I spent the first twenty five years of my life living right by the ship channel and we never worried about flooding. I move to the Heights and whenever we get a big rain our yard becomes a pool.
Usually this bush is covered in big purple flowers and it looks like a butterfly factory. I've never seen so many butterflys before but we have huge ones here. The giant blue-black butterflys are my favorites.
Our only storm damage. Thank goodness.
