Put your money where your mouth is.

It's days like these that I really couldn't be more thankful that I'm here this semester. Hearings all day, so I got to sleep an extra half hour (and also realize that I leave for work waaaay too early). Also learned that a short cup of coffee is more than enough to at least get me going for the day. Got a seat on the metro instead of standing all the way like I did the past two days. And now I'm waiting in the Rayburn building for the first of two hearings I am attending today to begin.AND loving the fact that I won't even get to the office until about four if all goes as it should.

What sweetened this deal even more you might ask? One of the hearings I'm going to is about the financial bailouts and all that econ goodness. So I was greeted by a slew of protestors off the metro inviting me to a 'bailout party' this weekend to celebrate Paulson & Co.'s screw ups. The Capitol Police were quite annoyed. At any rate, if anyone at home is up this morning, I suggest turning on C-SPAN, it should prove to be quite entertaining.
