Yesterday when I got off Farragut West there were two men, one playing a cello, one a violin. Everyone, even the iPod-ers took out their headphones and stopped to listen. The whole tunnel was filled with this loud ridiculous music. They weren't there today, and I really kind of wish they were.

The week's half over, with it you'd think would come some optimism. Which is why, even though it's cloudy out, I didn't bring an umbrella, in the hopes that it'll clear up. It always clears up at home. Somehow though, I see that reasoning coming back to bite me in the ass.

Edit: the day was fabulous. Got to go to the hill, couldn't have been more obviously an intern if I tried. Then dinner and drinks with a friend.

And I brought an umbrella today. Just in case.
