The rain was light, just enough to get your hair wet in three minuets. She sat on her bed, looking out the window at the beautiful, slick street. Watching the rythem of the rain... something so natural. She watched the drops hit the concrete and secretly wished that she could be out there, twirling and laughing... being a kid. But that was long gone, being rasied in a 'proper' family, she wasn't to associate with 'normal' things.
She didn't understand. Everyone drank the same water, felt the same sun, breathed the same air... why should she be any better than the next person? She watched the little girls in movies scrub the floor, waiting for a family, when she had never touched a rag. She didn't understand what went through her mother and fathers head when they told her she was better.
She watched the homeless man under the bridge as they drove by. No food, and no one willing to help. Because he wasn't fortunate in life... that makes her better? Because she was born into a family of 'high class' and he wasn't... she's better? Who's to judge anyone, anywhere? You don't know them, take the time... and maybe you will, but until then...just realize you can't put someone down because your supposedly better.
