(no subject)
so life has been treating me well lately.
not much school stress, i decided what i'm doing this summer, and i feel more of a direction as far as what i'm going to do with my life.
yeah i'm only a sophemore, so the life stuff could all change by next week, but hey, it's nice having a small idea of what would be nice to go into for study/work.
but yeah, so i'm going to new orleans from July 8th until July 16th with my church to do construction, and so you all should probably write me a couple encouragement notes. i take them and save them in an envelope and then read them throughout my week of hot weather and hard work. also--hopefully soon i'll be selling hebert's candy as a fundraiser, so save up your dollar bills and spare change, cuz this chocolate is good.
pretty much after tonight this weekend is going to be nonstop busyness, which is going to be fun, but tiring. tomorrow i'm going to my grandma's to see that whole side of the family for her birthday celebration--hopefully there will be caramel cake-and then sunday after church i'm going to be recording flute stuff--mozart and hindemith mainly--with my ex-step brother phil to send as an audition tape to this freaking sweet masterclass in pittsburgh with jeanne baxtresser, a worldclass flute teacher. we're going to record a bunch of other stuff i have too---and it should be fun. i haven't seen phil in a while.
and then sunday night i have comedy rehearsal. which is awesome except that i'm missing dinner at dave's sister's house.
and then MCAS ick but then new york friday!
everything goes by so fast--it's freaking me out.
