Golden Compass Review and Resident Evil
i Jess and Al and I went to see the Golden Compass yesterday. I'll cut my review even though there's really not that many spoilers in it
Anyway, so it wasn't that great. At all. I can't even place why. The actors were quite good..especially Nicole <3 <3 the CGI was also really awesome (except the part where Lyra is riding Iorek Byrnison's on back which just looks ridiculous and straight out of a coca-cola commercial. But I suppose it is hard to make a polar bear running look good.) Yeah the story was just sorta blah and the editing was horrible lots of bad montages and stuff. And it wasn't exciting in the slightest. You know, it was just a whole bunch of really really good cgi. And if Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Ian McKellen, and that guy who played Ghost Rider Sr. in Ghost Rider weren't in it, I think I would have found it down right boring. Oh yeah and THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY END THE MOVIE LIKE THEY DID IN THE BOOK. WHAT THE FUCK?!
