THANKSGIVING/WEEKEND RECAP!
Thanksgiving was good. me and nando headed to jersey to have lunch with his family. got caught in some traffic so we were late. ironically hit zero traffic coming home, so we had time to take a nap before going out to dinner with my family. dinner was good..i ate a lot..i ate oysters which i normally wouldn't even touch. and i think i cleaned half of the plate out before ppl even got to em ;X i was soo greedy..iono what came over me. haha. All in all..a good day.
Black Friday sucked. it was the first time i ever worked on a black friday and now i understand why. there are really some crazy people out there! i had to go in at like 7am and that was already way too early for me..but get this..the parking lot was full! even in the spaces that are usually deserted year round 'cause it's far from the mall were full! luckily since our store is a small store and we had no sales going on..it wasn't particularly busy. but i did work 14hrs and went home..slept only to have to work again the next day at 8am....bleh. at first i was only suppose to have a 11hr shift..which turned to 12..then eventually 13hrs. i seriously lack sleep at this point and wanted nothing more than to go home to sleep and enjoy my sunday off...plans change though..
Saturday Night landed me in the city for a lil drop in at some bar that Eric works at. we picked up Don on the way and got into the city kinda late. put it this way..i couldn't find anyting to wear so we didn't leave the house til almost 1am. pickedup Don..got into the city..found parking in front of Hells Angels' club house or whatever around 1.45. chilled at the bar for a bit..had some laughs..clowned on Don about miss "flashdance" he was eyeing. said our goodbyes to Eric..hit up Grays for some munchies. Dropped off Don at home..got home around 4am. Finally got to sleep at 5am after some loving..haha. So instead of working on my book project like i had intended..i ended up spending today sleeping almost all day!
That's all in a nutshell. i started a lil shopping for presents and i'm gon start writing out my cards over the next three days at work ;X what? i get bored at work when it's slow and there isn't anything to do and my manager isn't in.
