i never read the comics.. so to the untrained eye it looks pretty neat. However i heard a lot of bad things happened during production.

it still looks like it might be good but I have this thing with adaptations where the original material was dark, gritty and, well, British, but the film is a sort of retouched hollywood parody of it. I blame From Hell for this affliction.
