one of my fondest memories of my grandad was eating forfar bridies and red sauce for tea whenever we went to visit him. He always bought the glass bottles of red sauce, never did he have one of the squeezy ones, and I'll forever associate that with him. Since he died I've tried to always get the glass bottles as some sort of rememberance. But now I'm thinking the red sauce in glass bottles is different from the stuff in the squeezy. I'm sure it tastes better from the glass, it definitely seems thicker and you never get the watery stuff you get in the squeezy bottles when you leave it sitting too long. Do you think its like mars bars, cos all the different sizes of mars have distinctly different flavours (think my favs the fun size ones?)

Or do I just have far too much time on my hands?
