All right, it's been far too long. Unfortunately, I don't really have a lot to say. School is school and classes are going fine, aside from maybe the accounting class I have to take and which I pretty much hate. (I call it my Potions class as it is not only my least favorite class, it is also on the basement floor of the building). Last friday some of my friends and I baked a cake for our friend Logan's birthday at about midnight, and then woke him up and gave it to him at around two in the morning. It was Birthday-rific! (Yes, he enjoyed it, although he did hate us for about two minutes when we woke him up). We also checked the wheather report and saw that we were supposed to get snow that night and saturday morning, and realizing that K-Zoo is FULL of awesome sleding hills, decided we would go sledding on saturday at one particularly increadible hill. Unfortunately, the snow was more slush, and we ended up mud-sledding with lots of cardboard we collected. It was, nevertheless lots of fun. And after that we went to Meijer (covered in mud) and bought cookies and hot chocolate and had a movie night after that, which felt nice to just chill and do pratically nothing after five hours of sledding in the mud.
On a different note, when did it become okay to give so much money to our army and cut money from medicare and educational programs? According to reports, our president has just sent out a plan to Congress that would give $2.77 TRILLION to the military and cut money from 141 gov't programs, 1/3 of which include educational programs (everything from grade school to college level). *sigh* I don't know....maybe it's just me because, I know this is a risky stance to take, but I don't support our troops. I was against the war in Iraq from the beginning, so I don't feel I could honestly support them...I think it's great that they're doing what they are, and I know they just follow orders, that they don't make the decisions, but I can't support a war I was against from the very begining...espically when it means this much to our economy...Okay, I'll get off my soap-box now...This is getting pretty long, anyway, so I'll just leave you here...
