Well, I don't really have all that much to update about, but I suppose it is time for one, so here goes. Classes are still going well. They don't seem to be anything I can't handle (yet), so it looks as though I'll be fine there. The heat is still rediculous, but I'm making due. I'm meeting lots of new and semi-interesting people (including a girl who may or may not be a clone of me that is three years older, who is in one of my classes). My prof's all seem pretty cool and not too strict and stuff. But now on to the story I just know you all want to hear (why did I italicize the word "know"? Hmmm, well, too late now, I suppose.) So, I'm sitting in my room the other day (meaning yesterday), working on some homework around 1:00 when my roomie (Heather) comes in and says she wants to talk. I'm, like, sure, whatever. (kind of unusual, 'cause she spends about 95% of her time out of the room, but sure, whatever). And then she lays on me this long sob-story of how she and her friend (Gretchen) decided after they had filled out their forms and sent them in or whatever that they wanted to room together. (Why they waited until two weeks into the semester to try to remedy the situation, I'm still wondering). So she asks if it would be all right if Gretchen's roomate moved in w/ me so that Heather could move in w/ Gretchen. Yeah, sure, whatever. I don't really care, as, like I said before, Heather spent most of her time out of the room anyway, usually only comming in to sleep (sometimes not even that), so it really isn't that big of a deal. My new roomate's name is Andrea, she's 23 and from Portage. She seems nice enough, if, well, a bit corny. (Does that even makes sense?) She says and does corny things, etc. (She's one of those people who own almost nothing but shirts w/ Mickey Mouse on them and wears pleather jackets w/ a LoonyToons patch on the back, and, apparently, her mom comes every weekend to pick her up to go home for the weekend...just to give you an idea...) But she does seem nice and all, so I'm sure we'll get along swimmingly...As for now, I'm afraid I have homework that needs doing, so I'm afraid I'm off...
Peace and much love, y'all
