Tonight, the girls in my house and I all exchanged gifts for the holidays. We have one Jewish girl in the house, so we adopted the O.C. holiday of Chrismukkah to exemplify everyone’s beliefs. And then we all got amped up on 4 bottles of Martinellies! Among other really cool things, I received this poem that my housemate Elena wrote for me. A lot of the inferences are inside jokes, but nevertheless, it’s hysterical. So enjoy on my behalf. And Happy Chrismukkah!
The Chrismukkah Poem (for Jessica)
It is our first Chrismukkah ever
Apart or together
Good memories remain like talking endlessly about Erica Kleather
Baseball season lasted a good 33 games
We also successfully managed to drive Amanda insane
Orgasms through Boondock and Bliss
Don’t you wish all our memories could be like this?
In the immortal words of Yoda, “exciting your lives not be.”
But we managed to make do by spazzing to our 3 super-cool Britney’s
You put the Junky in my Robot
The Chunky in my Ice Cream
Ahh, how wonderful all these things seem
Plus, I owe you for that you, me, and Peja dream!
So as you return to the SoCal sun
Please don’t forget about our tons-o-fun
All things Hella, rain, and trees
Throw in my minty self and you can’t forget these
When you hang your stocking
Don’t forget to light the Menorah
And hell, while you’re at it,
Why not read a little Torah?
Sitting at home,
Watching Seth and the O.C, so clever
You will think you yourself, “This is the best Chrismukkah ever!”
Much love, Elena
How great is she?? gosh, I'm going to miss these girls like hell!!
