My mom visited this weekend and we went to the homecoming carnival (which basically just means freeee tshirts which we totally abused) and then I gave her the Lauren Northeastern tour. A simple fact search about the green line turned into a three hour MBTA history lesson for me last night. Today we went to presentations about co-op and housing for next year, and then we played with the Christian Scientists who invited us to join their spanish mass and gave us a tour of all the stained glass in the church. My mom liked the waterfalls in the Pru the best though. I never knew she was afraid of heights until yesterday.
