I am the madness of a sixteen year old girl
who just missed Honours
in decision-making.
Watch me through this kaleidoscope
and keep your jaw off the tiles,
they’re new.
I am a black and white portrait
of Hysteria in delicate motion
a classmate goes to circus school
but the rest of us are more than amateur carnies
a little boy wraps his tiny hands around iron bars
and stares.
So ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls
I present the youth of the 21st century
a collective opinion
and individual arguments
are what we can offer
if it please you.
I am brave enough
to call myself out
to tell you that I am
missing deadlines that will decide
the rest of my life
and my perfect future.
