he said/he said
last nite i drew up plans for a table. i go over to my uncles to borrow some tools, and pick up the materials i had him buy for me the other day. he asked to see my plans. i showed him. he is quiet. he calls up this guy, who comes over. he looks at my design. next thing i know, im hired as design coordinator of the house this guy is building. he asked me what kind of music i listen to. i started to name of some bands i had been listening to lately. right away this guy goes "ive never heard of any of these bands." i say "not alot of people do." he says "so you like bands not alot of people have heard of." i say "i guess." he said "i like this guy". i noticed he kept calling me guy so i say, "hi guy, im steve. some people call me fizz." he said "im mike, and like the band winger." then we both laughed. he bought my design on the spot for a cool 300 bucks, and told me his contractors would take care of it. im getting paid by the hour. 15 bucks. 9-6 on sundays. yes, i have a job. it involves coming up with color combinations. patterns, and goofing off on the internet. i have a job.
