well. i went to wal-mart yesterday with my sister and my dad, and we were standing near the cashiers when dad said, "you two just go stand over there for a couple seconds."
he then promptly disappeared, and natalie and i stood around looking at displays like two goosegogs. i decided he deserted us, so i called his cell phone to ask. he appeared two seconds later and said, "well, maybe i did desert you two on purpose."
i said, "well, you could have at least dropped us off in the electronics aisle."
he said, "ok, y'all* go wait there."
so we waited in the electronics section. while browsing the cds, i found this:
a user's guide to they might be giants.
and i bought it.
