Switchfoot makes me sad because they used to be depressing with an occasional Charlton Heston reference so they obviously aren't as talented as they used to be. With their new positive message and whatnot. The Legend Of Chin rocks.
Oh come on. They got depressing with Twenty Four. And the one before Adding to the Noise. They were pretty mellow with Under the Floor.
Dude, they started as a Christian band and I still consider them a Christian band. Christian bands don't make depressing stuff. 'You' had a religious message, Life and Love and Why did too, and so did Home. What are you talking about? I don't find the Legend of Chin depressing. I believe Switchfoot has come a long way since Legend of Chin, since their songs are distinct and that thing doesn't happen when you're listening to one song, then you don't concentrate/listen and a couple songs later, you're thinking, 'Hey, didn't this already come on? What? It's two songs later? Hrmm.'
Plus also not being depressing anymore does not signify loss of talent.
