The play room is finally being organized and a lot of toys are being donated or given to someone who needs them... SO.... does anyone need any infant stage toys? If not I think I will just donate them to a daycare or give them to once upon a child to give to the church the usually donate to. I just want them out of the house. I am tired of all the clutter.
Jake and I have decided to start recycling and other things to help out the environment. Like next year we are probably going to get a Prius even though the plan was for me to get an xB. We also just want to save on gas. We drive so much that we are having to filling up probably 2 or 3 times a week.. That's over 150$ a week on gas. (I drive a Corolla, that is supposed to have such great gas mileage.. bullshit.) We cannot afford that and Jake is even considering biking to work even though it would probably take him 3 hours to do so. I wish that when we were looking at houses we would have considered the fact that nothing is in walking distance.. well except for a gas station. I would really like to be able to walk to the store. I guess I could walk to Meijer's which is kind of in walking distance, but I hate shopping there. I feel like they are really overpriced. I don't know I really just want to start doing things differently. I want to budget different. I want to stop feeling like I need expensive things to be a better person. I don't know why I feel that way. I want to stop spending so much money on make-up(seriously my make-up box has about 10,000$ worth of MAC cosmetics and I hardly ever wear make-up anymore). Not that I want to stop making myself up, I just don't want to feel like I need to spend 14$ on one eyeshadow.
I want to stop feeling like the boys need name brand clothing and shoes(unless I can get it on sale for really cheap which I do usually). My kids are 3 and 1 and they do not need that stuff. It is only going to get messed up and even if it doesn't I wouldn't be able to sell it for as much as I paid for it so its useless to spend all that money on stuff like that.
