Minerva McGonagall tapped her wand impatiently against her desk. There were five minutes left until detention was supposed to begin for Miss Brown, Miss Chang and Miss Patil, and none of them had arrived yet. It was bad enough that she felt that the three of them were already being punished quite lightly for daring to fight in the Great Hall.

If they did not show up soon, she would just have to make their punishments that much worse.
