I haven't posted anything in a while. No idea why, maybe I just haven't been motivated. I'm,.. contempt? I don't know if that's right. I don't know if things are better, I think I'm just comfortable now. Who knows. I've been getting things ready to record sometime in March with Korvus. That should be fun. I'll be producing, mixing and mastering. :)
I guess that's good news. Work is still work, uneventful. That's definitely a good thing lol. 2020 and 2021 has been a year of reconnecting with old friends and acquaintances. Just two days ago I was messaged by a girl I knew from my last base. I should call her Scene Girl? Mmmm SG for short. That's easier to type. I met her back in 2010/2011? I thought she was attractive but she was married so she was a no fly zone. lol. Well, we chatted here and there in the past, ran into each other in shows and concerts. We have a very similar choice in music. I never thought about it going anywhere. Two nights ago she messages me and we start bs'ing about the past. It was pretty funny. Then she drops the "I had such a big crush on you". Lol. I gave her shit for being married, we laughed. It was nice. We kept talking about music and gossiping about old things. There were a lot of dumb people around our circle, sucked that we were on antipodal points just staring at each other while nothing happened. Oh well.
We also shared where we are in life. Marriages are complicated. We agreed that I would make her a playlist of new music and that she would send me pictures of her emo days. I got them today as a return for the playlists and they did not disappoint, that shit was funny. Its good to have a friend that you can talk about your situations. Blegh! I'm going to sleep.
