March 14th to today
It's entertaining how "destiny" works. On March 5th I posted about T & L and on the 14th things took a turn for the better. (That's the reason for the vague post). On the 5th T & L's band was supposed to play and I was going to go watch them and hand off some equipment to L. The plan I had was to not ruin the night for T. Just kind of go there watch, drop off and depart.
My cus Joe was nice enough to go with me, so when we arrived at the bar/venue the place was almost empty. I saw T working the bar and I just went for it lol. I just said some smart ass comment about his long hair and he recognized me. Dude was surprised to see me and the show got canceled because he had thrown out his voice a few nights before. I was afraid he was going to blow me off. We just chatted sporadically throughout the night. Dude was working. We shared some shots, bs'd, got drunk and reminisced. I got invited to help them out with a few shows. I'm excited but I don't know if it'll ever happen because of this virus.
Of course, I connect with some old friends and the world goes to shit. Lol! Either way if I do or don't get to I'm glad we're good now. We bs here and there through facebook and talk about anime or whatever. I'm glad all of this happened and boy do I realize how much I had forgotten what peace felt like.
