CocoRosie was the most beautiful gig, the venue was perfect and pretty with chandeliers and we got right to the front. they were playing with kids toys, like an alphabet keyboard thing, and toy trumpets and racing cars. and the amasing beatbox / rapper gave us jelly beans. annnd patrick wolfe was randomly on stage accompanying them :) can't wait for the new album. the whole day was so good and summery with raspberry ice cream and yes just a really good day. just got cat power tickets. going to indulge much neglected *cultural* side by going art gallerying tomorrow.
