At Work Again.
I think I'm probably going to post here more often than not. It seems to be the place I have most time to do such things.
Okay, so I was working, whatnot, today, and this guy comes up to me to ask me my name. Introduces himself, you know, like people do. I helped him with his transaction, and at the end, he gives me his card, right? It has his business info on it, and his home number, as he points out.
"You're really attractive," he says. "I'd like to take some pictures of you. Do you have a girlfriend? Or, you know, any kind of friend? I have a wife and a 'friend' as well, you know how people these days are. I don't have to wear a rainbow to get the point across, right?" I informed him that no, I don't have a girlfriend, but I do have a "friend."
Anyway, he offered to take pictures of me and my boyfriend. Get this: his day job is that he takes pictures of dead people in their coffins for viewing at a funeral home.
It's not often that I get propositioned for pictures by a 60 year old black man. I'm not entirely sure how to react, yo. I just giggled. :-P
Other than that, today has been pretty tame. I'm working my regular shift, 11-7pm mon-fri and 8am-4pm sat and sun. It looks like I'm normally going to have wed and thurs off. I'd prefer weekends, but hey. Who's complaining? I have a full time job with hopes of advancement. It's nowhere near as stressful as answering phones and handling credit card transactions. Speaking of which, I still need to return my equipment to work. I should have given them to missaurora's roommate before he moved out (He works there, still). Oh, well. I'll just have to take a trip downtown. Maybe I'll do that tonight, since tonight is the "talk" with the boys' roommate that I'm not invited to.
Meanwhile, I'm sitting in the back watching soap operas. Who knew? There's a lot of attractive, scantily clad men on Days of Our Lives.
