new hot chip sucks. new beach house is good. the new portishead sounds very promising. about to listen to the new bauhaus. there is some brilliant fucking electro coming out of rome right now. the clips i've heard from the new solvent/lowfish split 12" sound amazing. going to listen to the most recent lowfish album at some point today. if you like minimal at all, check out the new bruno pronsato album. really excited for the new breeders record. hoping that travelogue will put something new (and not the effing acoustic album. FROWN.) out soon. the burial, the field and modeselektor remixes of the thom yorke tracks are seriously good, and the four tet one is ok. the rest.. yawn. also, i just read this interview with john maclean, and the new album from the juan maclean sounds sweet.
