ugh. i suck at updating my lj. i feel like it takes more effort.
so, no school today for martin luther king jr. day. i feel like it's a hard holiday to celebrate. like, there's no big songs people sing or like decorations or anything. it's like labor day. i mean, all good holidays that serve their purpose in getting us out of school, yet very hard to find a way to celebrate. at least at memorial day and labor day you can bbq. i mean, who could bbq in january?? that's how i celebrate important things. a good old bbq. :-)and i have other stuff to do so i'm not going to be able to make it to the 'on campus festivities', so, as my simple celebration of MLKjr today, i'm going to post a quote from him that i very much like. keep on rockin out in heaven MLK. keep rockin.
