a small post. :-)
i love college. i never thought i would, but i do. it's like saved by the bell, the college years.. but zakk morris doesnt get ugly in this version. :-D
i love getting to surround myself with people who build me up rather than tear me down. i love getting to have my faith in the Lord be a part of everything i do. i love how much God has changed me in the last year. it's amazing how 365 days of little choices i made could so drastically change the person i was then to the person i am today.
i thank God for all of the blessings He's given me, and even more so that i've grown in my faith and not been dragged down to worldly ways. God has called me to a higher purpose than drinking, having sex, and being in unhealthy relationships.
i'm in love. and it's not with the things that this world tells me i need to love. i love my Creator. He knows me by name. He loves me more then i could ever imagine. and i'm not bound to some blind faith, i'm bound to Jesus, God's Son who took up MY sins and was brutally beaten and crucified for ME. that's MY Jesus.
life is good because i walk with the Lord. He is my shelter from the storm.
it's a beautiful thing. and i have a beautiful savior.
