Friends come and go in our lives as easily as school teachers, work associats, or even the girl you were hitting on while waiting on a billards table at the bar last Friday. Not all friendships are long lasting, but not all of them are short lived; though, there are friendships of all sorts.
The long lasting friendships you try to hold onto as long as you can because it's hard to jsut forget about and move on without talking to someone you've known for years every again. There are just too many memories and good times you can remember, and there is too much of a closeness and comfort in knowing someoen that knows you as well as you know them....but it happens.
The short lasting friendships are hard to forget too because even though it was only for a few months, you and person got along really well and had several things in common that you could pull up a conversation on at any time. It was never booring.
Aquantences don't count.
The most important thing to remember when a friendship ends and fizzles out for what ever reason is to remember the good times and no focus on the bad because focusing on the bad only leaves you a miserable person with no friends. Oh, and to always know when to say good by and just let go.
