I guess by reading your entry that you are mentally preparing yourself back to the school world ..huh
Just to let you know that acquiring knowledge is endless and even till your death, you will be taught on how or what to expect in the afterlife. You will agree with me that if you are not prepared then, the only thing you could do at that time is only regrets. To know is to study and to let people knew you've studied is to be in a possession of that paper. How can someone trust you with a certain tasks that requires a certain knowledge if you have not the knowledge to carry out that tasks without fail. Think about it...
Funny how some people including yourself thought that that piece of paper is a stupid affairs but you will realize later that that stupid paper is the thing that will tell you that you are not stupid after all. I have that experience to share with you that without that paper your chances is severely limited. Not unless you are gifted or really talented that your gift or talent will pay the bills the only way to move forward is through that paper. There are challenges of course but worry not as the world is a wide place for you to applied what you have learned and accrued during your paper chase.
Some people after obtaining that paper may and will abuse their positions and flaunt their wealth around causing hurt and pain to people around them. The trick is to obtain that paper and at the same time be a good person, which is very hard to a certain people, then only this mentality of cursing the paper chase will be changed. There will be another session on how to be a good person, all in good time.
Now you have the chance to change this mentality around and I trust you are a good person ...
