(no subject)
Hmmmmm so a couple of things I thought might be interesting to post.
I'm going to Caraba's with my friend tonight. I can't wait. We're both starving ourselves until we go. Haha.
School starts on the 21st. I can't wait. My first day is the 22nd. That's also the day Madden NFL 2007 releases. Oh joy. Oh well. I intend to leave so I can go to school. Deal with it Gamestop.
There's a lawsuit against Gamestop. Six store managers in Lousiana are sueing Gamestop because they were required to work 50-60 hours and only got paid for 40. Does that sound familiar at all? Haha! I hope they win!
Next...I'm single so I've decided to flirt a little and got some interesting experiences out of it:
1. A guy came into Gamestop to trade in his PS2. We started talking and he told me that he does modeling and he's going to school for theatre. I told him I used to do theatre. He asked why I stopped. I told him cause of my job. I told him I used to perform at Sarasota Players. He said that he wanted to try out there and said I should come along. We joked around and decided we should audition together and become the next 'Romeo and Juliet'. "Well, without the dying part. No offense but I don't know you well enough to die for you yet." I laughed and told him I agreed. "After all" he said, "we've yet to exchange numbers." He smiled at me and walked out.
2. A group of guys came in and I thought I recognized them. All of them left except for one who stayed to trade in some games. He had Samurai Champloo: Sidetracked so we started talking about anime, then work, school, etc. He asked my name. I told him it and I asked him his. His name is Dakota and after presenting his name, he presented his hand for a handshake. I was a little startled but pleased by the gesture. Few people handshake these days. Anyways, he said he'd come visit me. I reminded him that I was leaving soon and he said it was no problem. His sister lives right by the mall in Bradenton so he'd come in to bug me. I told him I'd look forward to it. He left and then my employee teased me for flirting. My employee went to get me some food and said he saw Dakota out by Subway. He said Dakota told him to tell me hi. Awwwww. Cute.
I have more later but I wanna go pick up my money. Adios.
