(no subject)
hi guys. posting from USCB (illa vista? or something, basically student ghetto right off campus). still a little drunk, 'kegger' hosted by men's team, sketchy, think they might be trying to get us hungover and playing worse for the game tomorrow night. meh. SLAUGHTERED UCLA last night, 17 tries to 1. can't really tell you the real score because the field didn't have uprights (DIDN"T HAVE UPRIGHTS!!!), so who knows if we would have broken 100 in a real game.... the ref was late (LA traffic?) so for the first fifteen minutes, we had a sub ref in runners and jeans, with no whistle but yelling "tweet!" instead. utter caos. fitting to the trip so far. no organization. much animosity. anyways, in true rugby fashion, an odd mix of really really good and really really bad. things have been getting better since we left LA, althought stevo decided to run a loonnnnnngg, fitnessey and contacty practice tonight after playing last night and playing again tomorrow. my muscles are tired. avoided the puma outlet today, can't afford it. and steve threw me back in to get some glory at 8 for the last 10 minutes of yesterday's game, and i ended up doing more damamge to the torn ligament in my elbow. took a knee waiting for play to finish but got tired of waiting so sprinted off in support of robyn on a break for the try line and ended up getting a try on the last play of the game. that's my news. miss you all. will need a holiday soon to recover from this one.
