Ansia is still dead. Still not accepting it.
Anyhow, denial works a bit. Can't understand why the death of a bird is affecting me so much? Sigh.
On Thursday I went an saw James Blunt in concert with Mara, Pola and Mara's boyfriend Josh.
Josh is American, from Milwaukee. He told me about that state's Music Festival - Summerfest. I think I want to go. Pearl Jam is playing! And Hoobastank. And Nickelback (though I am seeing them already on May 4). I wonder if Josh will put me up at his place from June 29 to July 9 :).
I was going to go to Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in the Winter break, but have decided to postpone that for now. Maybe December of next Winter break.
If I don't go to the US, I might just go inland with John and Angela to Carnarvon Gorge and Longreach (Stockman's Hall of Fame and Qantas museum). Or maybe I will just work on my Tax.
Back to James Blunt: Was a great concert. He played for about 1 1/4 hours. He was good. Played the 2 big hits (Goodbye My Lover, You're Beautiful) a few others, and something new that I really liked, forgot the name though... Google Blog Search is good. It was Same Mistake.
Support was Clare Bowditch. She was on this year's Triple J Hottest 100, at number 63 with Divorcee By 23. She wasn't bad, but the guy working the sound desk during her performance should be shot. Just awful. Over amplified acoustic guitar is just not enjoyable to listen to!
Back to today: Jester is on my shoulder being a pain seeking attention, but very cute. Sigh.
Tonight going to see a screening of Josh Weddon's movie Serenity. Summer Glau who played River Tam will be there. She's a babe. The showing as part of Supanova that I might go and checkout tomorrow.
