here are some poems i found on poets.com that i really liked.
now the poems i am putting in here I DID NOT WRITE!
here is the first one i really really liked.
Starlight star bright I pray to God tonight
I am only four Lord, please don’t you see
What my daddys' been doing to me?
He says a daddy’s love, is shown this special way,
and this is our game, for him and me to play
So I pray to you Lord, if you’re a father too
Do all daddies’ there in heaven
Bruise their children too?
If not,
I want to go to heaven
Where little children are adored
Please God won't you take me?
Through heaven’s golden door.
AMEN
the second one...
Walk with me please won't you reply,
there is beauty awaiting us the whole way.
To the top of the mountain this is where I want to go,
there is a beautiful castle there so I have been told.
I have been on the mountain once before,
but to the top I still have to go.
Beautiful roses blossoming everywhere,
their fragrance so very fresh and new.
I can see their brilliance sparkling ever so,
a pathway to the top they will show.
A rainbow glistening in the morning sunlight,
adding a remarkable glow of colour to every sight.
Where the rainbow ends is where the castle will be,
enchanted within pure beauty the castle will remain.
Walk with me please say you will,
there is beauty waiting for us the whole way there
the third one...
Girl your lips
are just out of my reach
And I will find them
one day on the beach.
So show me the way
into your life.
And maybe just maybe
you could be my wife.
And through the years
we can share many tears.
Tears of love
from the heavens above.
ahh those poems are soo good i love them! haha i wish i knew the people that wrote them. oh well...
