a few days ago i put this poem called "she slit her wrists" in my poetry website. i got a lot of really good comments. i will put them in here so you can see them. i think this poem in a way meant a lot to people that read it. it just amazed me so much bc i didnt think people would really like it bc its about a girl cutting herself. i just wish people that do that would read it and get what i'm saying. i'm not going to put this poem in my LJ though sorry. but if you would like to read it just IM me and i will send it to you. :)
here are the comments...
can understand this poem alot. I had a friend who tried to commit suicide alot, and eventually she ended up in the hospital for a week. She had alot of problems at home and to her the only way out was if she killed herself. 5 points

coming from a past of slitting my own wrists & other attempts of suicide, this reminded me of where I was, where I've been and yes I know now that it's crazy to do such a thing, but at those moments it felt so right. For me it was a way to replace the pain with another pain. Thank you for expressing your concerns. 5 points
I hope you reach at least one with this poem. To be forever gone is final. The hurt you describe is very touching, as if you were close to someone who did this act. So sad, and very real, Good job! 4 points
