How to make a Colorbar -Vivi's way, lol!
+ Please note that this is the way I do it, and that the way other colorbar makers do it can be different ^-^
+ This is my first tutorial, so it may be vague
+ I'm assuming you know the photoshop tools and how to move layers and such, so I won't go over those. If you do want a tutorial on that, please tell me =)

STEP ONE
Open a canvas like "Base colorbar" on which you will make your colorbar. My canvas is 375x100.
I also divided the width by 5 so it will be easier for me to fit images on without any problem size. The "Base Square" is 75x85.

STEP TWO
Open up give images and minize them, to conserve space =)

STEP THREE
Now, open up your first image and resize it if it's too big. Drag the image to the base square, and move it around until you get the face of the character you want. Move the base square image to the base colorbar canvas. Move it to any area you want. Repeat with the remaining four images, and you'll find that they all fit perfectly =)

This is how it looks when you move the image onto the square:

STEP FOUR
You can close the base square, because it gets in the way. Now, for the rainbow!!
Go to Layer > New Fill Layer > Gradient. Just click ok for when the popup comes up; don't fix anything.

STEP FIVE
Now, another popup will come out. Where it says "Gradient:" click on the little arrow thing, and click the rainbow gradient. Choose the one where the entire thumbnail is colored.

STEP SIX
Your base colorbar canvas with your pictures will be filled with the gradient.

If you would like the gradient to be from top to bottom, click ok. If you want the gradient to be from left to right, adjust the angle to 180 degrees. Click ok.

STEP SEVEN
Now, it's filled with a gradient, and you can't see your image 0 __0
Go to your layers box, and click on normal, then color.

Before you clicked color:

After you clicked color:

STEP EIGHT
Select the text tool, and at the little white space at the bottom, write whatever you want =D

STEP NINE
If you want, you can put affects into it. In my case, I used the "Hard Light" effect on my little images. I also put a border around the whole colorbar, and here is my final image:
