Some people dream in colour, I dream in real estate...
My amazing cousin/role model just moved to a great apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan a few weeks ago. That she OWNS.
So I'm calling to find out her new address, for wedding invite purposes, and discover that she lives on the same street as Carrie on Sex and the City! E 73rd. The only reason that's cool is because they actually filmed the show on that street, and it looked perfect. Only a few blocks from the Park. But not as snooty as Park Avenue. Historic. Tree-lined. In other words, possibly my most coveted location in the entire world.
And they OWN it. Who owns in Manhattan? Apparently, my fabulous cousin and her rich husband do.
So I have this dream last night that I live there. And for some reason, the latest fitness craze is swimming in the grass in Central Park. I don't know how you'd swim through grass, but dozens of people were doing it. And I had this really gorgeous swirly coat. And my apartment had hardwood floors and a rooftop terrace. One of those really old brownstone walkups. Only all my friends kept leaving bits of grass everywhere. From the swimming.
