The past several days have been busy but very, verry interesting at least to me anyways. There have been lots of shows, lots of work and even an appearance on an early morning TV show thrown in the mix. I even found time to turn twenty eight somewhere in the middle of it all. I guess it started the night before my birthday when The Adversary kicked off the Oracle and the Mountain Cd release party, that was a very entertaining night all around. All the bands played pretty well and the vibe was very positive. Then this past friday I got up early as fuck to make a guest appearance on Live at 9 backing JD Reager. Whatever nervousness I had about playing on TV was counterbalanced by the fact that I was tired as fuck, so it went pretty well and we sounded pretty good. Then later that night we filled the 1020 slot at Rock for Love 2, which was extremely well organized and easly the most "rock star" experience I've had to date, with free pizza and bottomless Red Bull and Highlife, I could've easily gone overboard with it, but instead I chose to pace myself as best I could since I had another show the next night at Murphy's. That show was fun as hell despite us not going on until almost one, and practically the entire band was was walking wounded in some form or another. It wouldn't have been anywhere near as fun if we didn't have our core group of fans and friends out front the entire show singing along and pushing us through it. Though I might have been playing in front of three times as many people the previous night, I'll take a small group of enthusiastic people over a large group of people doing nothing anyday. I'm sure I must sleep at some point.
