(no subject)
this weekend has been brilliant :D
had the best lie-in ever on saturday morning, i definitely needed it!
went into town in the early afternoon and missioned to hmv to demand my wages, rrr!
there was a payslip there for me, it looks like they've given me half of what i'm owed, and the other half has disappeared somewhere, hmmm.
ade gave me his phone number on the way out so that i can meet everyone on saturday night for his leaving do :)
i'm looking forward to it lots actually!
its nice that even though i was only there for 2 weeks, they still want to be my friend. so hurrah.
had a bit of a look around town afterwards, bought THE topshop black star necklace...except a copy from au naturale which cost me like £10 less. score!
the boy got an early finish from work, and so arrived in lancaster at 7pm-ish :)
we went straight to the hest bank pub for a drink and a catch-up which was lovely.
walked home and picked up a chinese on the way. perfect.
watched rubbish tv and attempted to watch chasing amy but i fell asleep about half way through it, how rubbish.
lovely to spend time with him though :) i love last-minute decisions!
on sunday we got up and ready and got a lift into town at 12.
had a wander around the shops, i bought some bargain beads from new look, a 'tilly and the wall' cd and i got a book bought for me about teddy bears, ahhh.
we went for a drink in the friary and put on lots of good music, hurrah :)
then it was on to bella italia for our lunch/tea. it was lovely!
we were going to go to the cinema to see clerks 2, but they aren't showing it in lancaster, TRAGIC!!
so we got on the bus and, dropped our bags off at home, and walked to the hest bank.
it was fairly dark by this time and quite scary as we walked along the canal and theres no lights.
had a drink and some profiteroles in the hest bank, lovely :)
felt raaather drunk by this point as we'd been drinking all day.
it started pouring down as soon as we stepped outside afterwards, so we went to the chippy and got a tray of chips to share for the walk home. romance.
we were nearly home when suddenly chris stopped and picked something up from the floor which was just hidden slightly under the hedge.
a carousel!
oh my gosh, like a proper little carousel with horses that winds up and plays creepy music. just on the side of the road!
so i made him carry it home for me, where we wound it up. it didnt work at first, but then all of a sudden it just started spinning. it was like the exorcist i swear!
my sister screamed when i showed her, hahaha.'
i still can't get over how queer it is!
i reckon its gotta be haunted...
we stayed up far too late and continued drinking into the night, which wasn't the best idea considering the awful time we had to be up this morning to get me off to work.
felt terrible when i woke up, hungover, gay.
chris walked me to work and we said our goodbyes. its rubbish :( but at least we've seen each other fairly often. and its been brilliant every time :)
feeling more solid than ever at the moment.
work was ok.
i stayed upstairs and did computer training stuff all day.
perfect for a hangover, and unlimited free hot chocolate, brilliant.
however, i wasn't allowed to leave tonight until 5:45pm, i was a bit annoyed to be honest.
my next train wasn't until 6:10pm, which would have meant i'd have missed my bus in lancaster if dad hadn't come and picked me up. so i wouldn't have been home until getting on to 7:30...how rubbish is that?
i have to ask for a transfer this week if this is gonna be a regular occurence!
sarahs coming home for the weekend so we're gonna go and do the pub quiz on sunday :D can't wait.
