Tristen fell asleep, so I get a break from running all over kingdom come! He's so precious though. He is OBSESSED with opening and closing doors. He is really facinated with how you can open and close a door from the side with the hinge and the side with the knob. I actually remember discovering this concept in our house in Auburn....
I took pictures of him yesterday while he was taking a nap. Someone told me this was stalking. Um, no, not if he was left in my care. And not if I'm going to print out the pictures, put it in a frame, and give it to his grandpa for his birthday!
I think I want to find out when his mom's birthday is. There are these kits at WalMart for making baby hand and feet molds. I think that would be so cute! Messy, but cute!
I have to make sure that I get a lot of work done this weekend. There will be less to clean around my room. I should keep my room picked up if Tristin is going to be hanging out most days. I guess I should learn how to spell his name too....
I sent an email asking my pen pal in Spain about why we have some of the rules that we have for our trip to Spain. She told me that we need to talk from about now until I leave about all the rules I should follow in Spain. The specific question that I asked was why we couldn't use bedspreads when we take naps. I think that is what set her off. I really want to know. I'm not trying to be mean, but that sounds crazy to me, and I want to know more about it. There could be tons of reasons why. Maybe if I know this reason, I can figure out what other things would be considered rude or whatever. Oh well. I'm excited about this summer because I am still seeing the idealistic side. The truth of it being a very stressful 5 weeks of my life hasn't sank in. I've never really traveled before, but I'm with a group, so it should be okay. And my spanish is horrible....but Alba and my dad's mexican friends say that I have improved a lot, so I'm staying optimistic.
Anyhoo, I thought I would use naptime for some procrastination. I'll talk to yalls later!
