It's always tragic when someone dies, especially a young person, and especially when it's unexpected. It's worse when it's someone you know, or in a neighborhood close by, or when it's someone who means a lot to someone that's important to you. It's really weird, though, to drive by your neighborhood and see a memorial made by the kids you went to school with, for a kid you went to school with. Maybe sad is the proper word. It's definitely sad. I kind of want to go over with some people from middle school, if anyone wants to go, just because. Because even though we were never friends, I know I still care.
