(no subject)
so today was one of those days where life just seems peaceful.
granted it started last night with my sister and i satying up late talking, eating watermelon, and watching miami ink.
today astucally started not so well with me and my mom having very tense moments, but some really bad radio, a morning glory muffing, a conversation with a stranger about dallas green, and an iced chai with vanilla soymilk later and i was set.
i'm becoming a 'regular' at espresso junction and tall grass prairie and the workers recognize me and remember what i like.
after i ate breakfast i sat on the docks and read and wrote and fed the ducks and ducklings.
then i walked to the museum to volunteer.
this is basically the best volunteering job ever.
i get to hang out outside downtown and talk to artists from Mexico all day long and hand out programs to random hipsters in the exchange and talk to them about public art and such.
it is all of too wonderful.
then i took my mom a banana milkshake from Vj's and went and blew a big amount of weekend tippage.
i got 3 cds(including the new sufjan!) and two new books(including charmed thirds in hardcover).
then i went to work where i made $15 in tips but it was so dead i didn't mind.
we just sat around drinking slushies and talking.
it was really nice.
tomorrow i have the day off!
i'm volunteering in the morning and then off to dinner at Moxie's with my sister and church.
then i'm sleeping over at the sirotas and thursday...ANNIE.
