I love the socks that you knit. Any favorite patterns? I usually end up making one and never completing the pair. Too boring of patterns I think. I have one ball of sock yarn from KnitPicks that I have no idea what to do with. Any ideas?

You know, I'm terrible at onesockitis. When we moved down here from Nebraska, I just ended up donating three single socks to a nursing home with two huge bags of yarn. I spoke to the social director and she said they had plenty of amputees that would love a handknit sock for their foot. I was happy to not throw it away. The one I'm working on now is toe up, figure eight cast on, work up to 48 stitches and the tops are k2p1 across the top. I will probably do an afterthought heel, because they don't end up with little holes, you just decrease down like you do a toe. I'll take pics.
For your one ball of sock yarn you could make amulet from magknits or an ipod sleeve ps I got a new haircut today!
