I'm getting a bit tired of everyone blaming me because the boys keep running off. They both seem to be aware that there are monsters about, especially at night, so why doesn't that stop them from running off alone? Of course, it would have to be Spike that found them, and frightened Daniel quite a bit. Dylan seemed oddly calm about meeting a real life demon.
Darla phoned to see how the children were, and I downplayed the incident, but assured her that Spike was holding up his end of the bargain and brought them back before they got very far. I'd rather not get into another argument with Angel about it, the ungrateful lout. Not my fault Dylan decided to try his new magic trick with Anya in the room. And Rhia keeps giving me these superior looks, but she has just those angelic little girls to deal with.
I left two more messages on Ethan's service, but haven't heard from him yet. I think I'll see if Xander will look after the boys tomorrow so I can do some in depth research at the Magic Box. I'm certainly not going to ask Anya to bring over any more books!
