I went to the beach with Dylan and Taylor. It was cool, as the beach is. I like that about living in California; it's easier to see the beach than in Ohio...Dylan asked me about Des and Gabe, but I just shrugged and went to get ice cream. This is all a part of my plan to be nicer to Gabe. I should've said, "I dunno," but that's probably lame

*gets up from the couch and opens the door* Hey Rhia. What are you doing here? *moves aside to let her in*

Got your message on the voicemail. I was on my way to the club and thought I'd check and see if you wanted to come hang out with me tonight.

*smiles wickedly*

No sneaking drinks and getting caught though.

*laughs* Yeah, I'll totally be sneaking taquila shots while you're not looking. Cool, yeah. That'd be fun. Des and Gabe have been hanging out a lot. I don't think I've ever been to your club.

I'll know, I'll totally be able to read your thoughts. Or you know, see you stumbling and running for the bathroom when it makes you sick.

*snickers*

I got clothes in the back of the car for ya. With a little make up and those clothes, people will think you are easily 21...

*arches an eyebrow*

You never rat me out to Dylan over this.

Are you really gonna read my thoughts? Isn't there a thought-blocker-outter people can buy in the software section at Best Buy?

*smiles* Really? There are pretty clothes?

Yeah, like I'm gonna tell Dylan I'm actually a girl. *smirk*

*waits for Gia to put the seatbelt on before starting the car*

*reaches back and hands her the bags of clothes*

Take what you want. I wouldn't read your thoughts without you wanting me too. I've been practicing personal boundaries. Oz is kind of touchy about the mind reading thing. Though, a warning, on phones? I can't help it.

*smiles*

How are you? I feel like we never get to talk.

*reaches into the bag and starts looking around, pulling out a pretty tank top* Oh, pretty. Thanks! I bet old guys will hit on me.

*laughs* Yeah I can totally see Oz being strict about personal boundries.

*half-smiles* I'm okay. Everyone's been really great to me, and Des is really cool to live with. Gabe comes by a lot to see Des, too. How are you and Oz?

*arches an eyebrow at the mention of gabe*

Oz and I are good. Snarky and stuff as usual. I made him take babysitting duty for the boys, they are a little broody lately.

*keeps tone light*

So, Gabe has been hanging around? How do you like him?

*giggles* That's Oz. Yeah, they have been pretty broody about Holtz and Destroyer-Connor.

Yeah. He has a crush on Destiny, but he won't tell her. *realizes what she said, tries to cover* Well, maybe. I dunno, he just hangs out a lot. He's nice. He made dinner the other night for us.

That was nice of him.

*parks in front of the club, leads Gia to the private entrance in the back*

No one is here yet. My set up crew has about an hour before they'll arrive.

*steps behind the bar and starts to make a pitcher of strawberry daquiries with very little rum*

So, you cool with him wanting to date your sister?

*sits on one of the bar stools and watches her make the drinks* Cool.

*shrugs* I don't care if he dates Des. I just want him to tell her and not fluff around about it. I don't like it when guys do that...

*looks uncomfortable* I've been kind of mean to him lately.

*pours two daquiries out and passes one to Gia*

Maybe he's shy? Some people have a hard time expressing their feelings to another, especially if that person is someone they care about.

*sips her drink*

Mean how?

Maybe. *sips the daquiri* This is good, I love strawberry.

*shrugs* I dunno. I left him a note telling him to tell Des. I think it pissed him off. I guess I feel uncomfortable around him...

*looks concerned*

Is it just a Gabe thing or are you comfortable around guys in general?

You get along all right with Oz and the boys right?

*shifts in her seat*

I dunno. Yeah, I get along with Oz and the guys. Well, Oz and I didn't get along at first. But Dylan and I did. I thought Connor was hot, but he's kinda gay so...
