you know what i grow sicker and sicker of each passing day?
cheap, sleazy, skanky girls. movies, music, and everything that take women, or women's bodies, and use them to attract the masses. it seems every movie i watch these days, has at the VERY least 1 scene with a bunch of tits, or some sex, or even just women wearing very little. its unnecessary, demeaning, and annoying. for instance...the other day, i was watching the new underworld movie. and quite enjoying it. up until a completely unnecessary scene where the girl, whatever her name is, takes all her clothes off and fucks whoever she was fucking. at that point, i lost all interest in the movie, and all respect for the actress. it seems all females are good for these days is to use their bodies or sexuality for cheap attraction to...whatever. their music, their new album, their new movie. it seems very little females withhold any dignity or self pride at all these days, and it makes me very sad.
so i had a wee argument with travis about this, because i was at his house when we watched that movie. he tried to propose that actresses take their work very seriously, and that if taking their clothes off is necessary for the plot of the movie, then they shoulndt be looked down upon for that. which i dismissed as complete bullshit. i personally would never agree to having the entire world see my body, simply to draw more money towards the movie.
however, its not just movies. i was browsing through his myspace profile, and found that someone had left him a comment with just a picture of 2 naked goth chicks with corset piercings and all, and i believe they were just hugging eachother or something. and i noticed he had commented back with something along the lines of "thanks, i enjoyed the pic very much". i dunno, maybe i cant blame him for being attracted to that, because boys are of course attracted to naked, or half naked women. but i cant stand seeing this everywhere. even some of the girls ive met in my life, have been known to wear next to nothing to gain attention from boys, or whoever.
well...i suppose thatll be all for my rant. i suppose im not the type of girl boys find sexy. but id rather be unattractive than cheap.
