Next year will only suck if you expect it to - don't go in negative. Go in open-minded. After all, what if some of the new people are like me? Okay, maybe that's a bad example. Change is not always bad. You will make new friends and stay in touch with the old, you'll keep kicking ass at skate comps, and you'll do fine in your classes.

And you think you know old? Hel-lo...

Dude, I felt much the same last year. And this year, ultimately, rocked.
So, I'm sure your next year will rock as well. I agree with the strange one that your attitude will affect your happiness next year more than anything else.

I love you loads and I'm sure it'll all end well.

You are an amazing girl and have a bright future ahead of you. Talk about feeling old, when did I turn into the wise old sage? I'm not that old OR wise. But it doesn't take a genius ancient archetype to figure out that you are gonna have year after year of great ones. Just keep doing what you love and remind yourself that happiness beats all. It isn't about winning or even good grades. Sure, that stuff helps. I'm not saying it doesn't. But none of it matters if you're not doing stuff that you'd do no matter what - no recognition, no pay, no good grades, no plaques, no trophies. Would you? I somehow think you would. You're rad like that.
