I wrote this poem for someone who's recently come into my life.

Although we've only just met, she's inspired me, and I hope that this inspires all of you, as well.

Be Heard
Share your voice,
let yourself be heard!
It's your God-given
right to express it!
Don't let the fear
of judgment cause
anxiety and pain.
Stand up to those
who try and knock
you down. Spit in
their miserable faces.
Your words are
powerful and mysterious.
Rise up against
adversity. Laugh
in its direction.
You are strong,
beautiful, and talented.
So, take the chance,
and share your voice!
