(no subject)
So, apparently my dad's uncle died today. I never really knew him, despite the fact that we live less than 10 miles from each other. Oh, well. I don't know how to deal with death. I'm ok with it. I'm not really upset or anything, but the idea of dying is something that truly disturbs me.
Funeral is Monday, viewing Sunday. Viewings are something I just don't understand. Christian funerals are bizarre to me. My mother is muslim and the few funerals I've been to have been either muslim or jewish ones. No viewings. Isn't a viewing a bit strange? I don't know.
I want a Green Burial myself. Am I left-wing? Yes. Very much so. I'm a socialist.
