I thought I had a chance to win a place in a tournament on deviantART; I just fucking might have gotten in if the really good artists had just stayed away x___x Not that they shouldn't have had a chance to enter if they wanted, but sjsdjfbsd EVERY TIME I WANT TO ENTER A CONTEST, I GET COMPLETELY ANNHILATED BY SOMEONE. Never fails.
...yes, I AM still emoing about this 6 some-odd hours later, STFU. I'm trying to get over it, I really am; but the fact that I had a chance against a large chunk of the earlier entries just will not leave my mind ;___; How can the good people come in the DAY OF THE DEADLINE with amazing auditions that I couldn't match even if I had 3 months? It's...infuriating, and it should be illegal, lol. It's like those people that wait until the last 5 minutes of the auction to make the highest bid. This whole thing is even worse because some of the people who got in have the most boring, uninspired, generic and un-interesting characters that I've EVER seen. "Not chosen solely for shiny expert skill" my ass. He's a good liar, I'll give him that much. He makes me more angry with myself than him. D8

...ANYWAY. Finally saw POTC3 today and holy God it was amazing. ;3; I'm still WTFing over some parts, but I never looked at my watch once. Some blasted man and his imp-child next to me wouldn't shut up. Half-looking over in their direction silenced them swiftly enough. xDDD
There was the most adorable Siamese/Himalayan kitten in our backyard this morning. Before I could talk to it, though, it ran like hell out the gate, like I was brandishing a butcher knife or something. o__O; sdfnhjdsnf I'm such a sucker for anything cute~
And oh noes Gurren-Lagann got licensed T___T I won't be able to watch it online for much longerrrrr *weeps*
