unemployed no more!
i got a job as a Lifeguard here on campus at the new recreation center that's set to open March 26th.
it's a fantastic facility (80,000 square feet). 18,000 square feet is just the weight room. they can fit over 100 pieces of equipment in that space. there are flat screen tv's at each individual cardio machine. each set operates on a different radio frequency so you just set your own radio to that station and voila -you're hooked up. the pool area comes equipped with zero-depth entry, a 25 seat jacuzzi, whirlpool, a lazy river, and an on-deck sauna. there's a 45ft climbing wall (not the cheezy colored pegs, but molded rock...yeah). they have a massage therapy clinic, a human performance lab, a 3 court gym designed for...what...INDOOR SOCCER BABY! the reigning champs of the outdoor league, my very own FANTAZZI's have split into two teams for indoor (FANTAZZI X and FANTAZZI Y). we're gonna dominate. ah, spring is gonna be great!
